The Town Hall of Benalmadena makes a contest about the exploitation and management of the hotel La Fonda after the conclusion of the previous period of management. “The conservation of all working places and works of improvement in the facilities are our priorities,” said the Major Javier Carnero. The Major of Benalmadena, Javier Carnero, has informed about the recent publication of conditions for adjudication of the grant for exploitation and management of the hotel La Fonda. “ The new contest takes place after the conclusion of the previous period of management, but we used the circumstances to make diverse improvements” added the Major. The hotel La Fonda situated in Santo Domingo Street is a municipal patrimony and has a surface of 1.719 square metres. In the hotel, there is a catering school, which depends on the Council of Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia. In the new document of conditions figures that the term of enforcement of the agreement would be 35 inextensible years. In compensation for the management and exploitation of the hotel, a new concessionaire will have to pay a minimum of 20.000 euros per year. “Our main concern at the moment of elaboration of this document has been to guarantee the viability and stability of all the working places that nowadays depend on La Fonda,” said Carnero.
