The Town Hall of Benalmadena begins a special reinforcement of cleaning in the quarters during the months of August and September. The device started in the first week of August in the district of The Bajoncillo, and will take place two times a week with personnel of 13 workers. According to the Councillor of Cleaning Juan José Jiménez Gambero, “It is an initiative without precedents in the municipality.”
The Councillor of Cleaning, Juan José Jiménez Gambero, announced the beginning of special reinforcement of cleaning in the different districts of the three centres of Benalmadena. “ It will develop during August and September twice a week, and in every occasion we will act in a different quarter,” announced the Councillor. The special cleaning will consist among others in washing down of the streets and limits of every group”. This special reinforcement of cleaning is integrated by 12 workers (seven drivers with respective tank or sweeping cars and five operatives) under the supervision of the Manager Antonio Gallego, a recognised professional with a long experience in special devices and plans of cleaning,” detailed Gambero. The initiative begins in the quarter of The Bajoncillo, in the area between the avenue of the Constitution and the avenue Ciudad de Melilla (City of Melilla). The works will develop between the 5:30 and 12:30 hours. “It is an initiative without precedents in our municipality, never before took place a reinforcement of cleaning in such a calibre in every quarter. So this initiative constitute one more proof of our support for the nearby actions in the districts, and for the municipal operative services like the personnel much more adapted for this kind of tasks”, he concluded.
