The first day of active collaboration with Cudeca will be celebrated next Tuesday, 15th of July. In this event will participate the Town Hall of Benalmadena by means of several Councillors, as well as the Pensioner’s Centre, Anica Torres.
The Town Hall of Benalmadena, through diverse Councillors and the Pensioner’s Centre, Anica Torres, is developing a project of Active Collaboration for the Foundation Cudeca Cancer Care. The Foundation has already attended more than 300 patients of our municipality, totally free of charge. More than 20 volunteers of the Pensioner’s Centre are going to reinforce the campaign of sensitization, information and search of partners and volunteers, who will help that the Cancer Care of the Cudeca Foundation in this municipality continues being a reality. The aim of this program is to save the Income Unit of critical economic situation. The propose of this common project is the location of sensitization committee and collection once a month in different points of the municipality: the Town Hall, the Health Centre Torrequebrada, the House of Culture and the zone Blas Infante among others. The first day of this Campaign of Active Collaboration for Cudeca will be the morning of 15th July and it will be taken up again in September. Every month we will announce in local media the date and the place where these meetings and collections take place. Among all we could announce and stimulate this important initiative for the people who suffer cancer in not curative phase and they could receive the “Special Way” of Cudeca.
